Things to Do in Wells & Ogunquit Maine


From sandy beaches to rocky coastline walks, the Southern Coast of Maine has a lot to offer. Wells Beach, Moody Beach, North Ogunquit Beach, Footbridge Beach, Ogunquit Beach, Drakes Island Beach, and Crescent Beach are within 2 miles of the Elmere. Quaint Ogunquit Village is 1.5 miles to the south and accessible via the seacoast trolley, Shoreline Explorer.  The Wells and Ogunquit trollies connect at The Majestic Regency Hotel.  The trolley is a fun way to experience the area. 

 In Perkins Cove and Ogunquit Village, you'll find a large selection of great restaurants, quaint shops and boutiques selling many wonderful gifts and authentic Maine souvenirs.
