“Our favorite place to stay!”

My husband and I are in our early thirties and have travelled from Japan to Spain and this has been by far our favorite place to stay! I booked this hotel on a whim last minute the weekend before 4th of july and didn't expect much. As soon as we came in Son (and her adorable little yorkie) made us feel incredibly welcome. You can tell this isn't just a business to her, but she takes great pride in making sure every guest is having an excellent stay. She showed us all around the property, made GREAT breakfasts that were different everyday, and just got you to feel like you were staying in a relatives house. The rooms are also spectacular! The bed is so comfortable and the bathrooms are gigantic with every amenity. This place is in a great location as well, extremely close to Kennebunkport and Ogunquit so either town isn't far at all. There's also a great ice cream shop within walking distance!

Welcome to The Elmere House Bed and Breakfast of Wells, Maine. The Elmere House Bed & Breakfast is a beautifully restored, historic antique farm house that opened up for business in July 2008. The interior retains much of charm of the mid-1800's with its warm and cozy furnishings and completely refinished, original wood floors. Yet, you'll find that it has all the amenities and comfort features of a new and modern accommodation. We are close to all the activities and attractions but off in quiet and peaceful setting.
All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning/heating. All rooms have new large wall-mounted LCD televisions, High Definition DVD players and there is a DVD library available on premises. Our first floor room, The Kezar Lake Room, is specially designed for the physically challenged in mind, but is equally comfortable for any guests. All other accommodations are located on the second floor, including the elegant The Moosehead Lake Suite.
